A little about Westbrook...

Westbrook is a thriving city in Cumberland County, Maine that has recently seen a period of exciting revitalization. The area was once a part of what was called Falmouth, now Portland. It was not until the year 1814 that it was set off and officially incorporated as the city of Stroudwater. The name was soon changed to Westbrook after Colonel Thomas Westbrook, a commander during Father Rale's War and early settler in the area. Today, Westbrook is a thriving community that provides convenient access to a lot of great business and recreational activities within its own city limits and in the nearby city of Portland.
